About Me
We are so proud and privileged to welcome Will to Team LCE as our very first Apprentice!
Will initially attended LCE as a pupil, having faced a range of barriers to education and finding himself on the very cusp of Permanent Exclusion. He joined us as an angry, disaffected young man, disillusioned with the educational landscape he was struggling to navigate. Within weeks, however, a complete transformation began to emerge.
Will engaged wholeheartedly with both the academic and social opportunities available at LCE, embodying our core ethos of respect, resilience, and integrity. Impressing staff with his quiet determination, he took strategies learned at LCE back into his school to completely turn things around. Focussing on his GCSEs, his attendance and engagement skyrocketed, making him a proud ambassador for both his school and LCE.
Having walked in the shoes of the young people we support, Will possesses a level of understanding that makes him an exceptionally relevant and effective role model. As part of our partnership with Rochdale Training, Will is now embarking on an 18-month Teaching Assistant apprenticeship alongside LCE training in Safeguarding and Prevent. We are thrilled to support him at the start of a fantastic career.
