LCE Aspirational Provision

The Core Offer

LCE offers a highly collaborative, short-term, part-time alternative provision that serves as a direct extension of a mainstream school’s existing inclusion offer. Our model blends immersive off-site education with intensive, supportive outreach sessions. Rather than isolating pupils, we partner directly with referring schools to re-engage learners with the mainstream curriculum, enhance their coping strategies, and cultivate long-term resilience.

By bridging the gap between education and professional sectors, we provide our learners with exclusive pathways, hands-on experiences, and aspirational futures that set them up for long-term success.

Our Impact

DfE National Statistics 2026

With exclusions hitting record highs across the UK, the need for proactive intervention has never been more urgent. At LCE, we use the Department for Education (DfE) national insights to shape our targeted, short-term placements, catching vulnerable learners before they fall out of the system entirely.

How It Works

Our 12-week short-term placements target students at risk of mainstream exclusion, working directly with schools to provide a seamless extension of their internal inclusion offers. Under a flexible referral framework, pupils attend our hubs for 1 to 3 days per week to engage in daily core curriculum instruction across English, Mathematics, and PSHE, delivered by experienced teachers alongside inspirational role models and sporting professionals.

To ensure progress tracks back to the classroom, our dedicated reintegration team delivers intensive, 1-to-1 outreach support directly within the pupil’s mainstream school.

Key Outcomes & Impact

How do you ensure measurable re-integration back into mainstream education?

We focus on restoring a positive relationship with education from day one. By working closely with schools, we successfully lower mainstream suspension rates and prevent permanent exclusions, paving a smooth, structured path back to the classroom.

Will my child fall behind academically while attending the provision?

Not at all. We provide clear, accredited pathways ensuring students keep pace with their peers. Learners actively work towards recognised AQA Unit Awards and Functional Skills qualifications in essential subjects like English and Maths, protecting their academic progress.

How do you track and evidence student progress and impact?

We track impact through regular diagnostic monitoring and behavioural tracking data. This allows us to provide mainstream school leaders, local authorities, and parents with clear, consistent evidence of a student's academic progress, attendance improvements, and social-emotional development.

How does this provision prepare students for long-term success?

By combining academic learning with mentor-led vocational and life skills, we equip students with the practical tools and resilience needed to successfully transition back into mainstream schooling, further education, or future employment.
