I’m not one for leaving reviews as I’m a true believer everyone has different expectations and standards. However, I feel LCE would EXCEED anyone’s expectations. By this I mean parents, potential students and professionals that make referrals.
Firstly, I feel I need to give you a light summary of
My child prior to attending LCE. I’m going to call him Jack for obvious reasons. So, Jack has autism learning difficulties and low self-esteem.
Up until him being 13 we led a “normal” family life. He was a good child well behaved and attended many clubs within our local community.
Sadly, for us he was exploited by a local gang who took him down a path of drugs and gang crime. His school placement at that time broke down. Life was hell and I quickly learned that things like this, there’s no discrimination it can happen to anyone.
After visiting 17 schools within and out of area NOT ONE would take my son in.
We then visited LCE and this was our very last option and I must be honest I had little hope. I didn’t think it would be possible for anyone to be able to reach out and turn Jack around.
HOW WRONG WAS I……LCE has turned my son’s life around in 8 months. He’s drug free, he is no longer living a life of crime and gang culture.
This establishment believed in my son and have worked extremely hard and continue to support him post 16. He has employment opportunities, and they continue to support him one day a week.
This place isn’t about the staff earning a salary, it’s about giving kids a chance to succeed where others have failed them or given up. EVERY member of staff speak to the kids with the utmost respect, and they have a person-centred approach.
I personally cannot thank them enough for what they have done and how they continue to support us as a family.
LIFE CHANGING EDUCATION………You’ve named your school well …..it’s EXACTLY what you do. You’ve saved my son and changed his life.
