Rupon Miah

Rupon is a highly qualified, vastly experienced, and compassionate professional who prioritises pupils' needs in his whole approach to education. He adds outstanding strength to the team at LCE, epitomising kindness and sensitivity in every aspect of his work alongside an array of professional qualifications and impressive career experience.

Rupon is excited to join LCE, noting that he is most energised by the prospect of having the time required to fully understand every pupil and support schools towards providing a truly holistic pastoral offer. He believes whole-heartedly that for pupils to access the full potential of their education, it is imperative that they are heard, understood, and provided with the solid foundations needed to succeed.

Throughout his career, Rupon has held integral roles across both mainstream and secondary PRS settings, serving as Head of Year at Oulder Hill High School, Assistant Year Manager & Year Manager at The Radclyffe School, and HLTA leading on Behaviour & Attendance at Brownhill Learning Community.

He joins LCE to help enhance mainstream educational offers, reduce permanent exclusions, and equip young people with stronger foundations for their futures. Rupon upholds an uncompromised belief that every child has the potential to succeed and thrive when supported to engage with their learning environment positively.
