About Me

Reece is a phenomenally exciting acquisition to team LCE! He joins the staff team boasting an undeniably impressive history of successes working in education, complimented further by an array of accolades in his sporting career both as a football player and most recently in his position as manager of semi-professional football club, Maine Road FC.

Demonstrating the resilience we aim to instil in our pupils, Reece has displayed great focus and strength of character throughout his career. After enjoying academic success in his GCSEs, like many young people, Reece didn’t fully grasp how choices within education would impact future prospects. Facing a lack of guidance, he initially secured employment in scaffolding before recognising the need for a career that provided real purpose and utilised his true capabilities.

Outside of his education career, Reece’s time as a semi-professional football player developed his mentality and leadership style. After facing a career-altering injury, he was appointed manager of Maine Road FC, emphatically highlighting his resilience and ability to motivate others to achieve peak performance.

Reece found his true calling in 2015 at Bridge Lea Primary PRU, discovering a passion for supporting pupils who needed care, guidance, and someone to believe in them. More recently, as Pastoral Lead at St John Henry Newman RC College since 2020, he gained invaluable insight into adolescent wellbeing and secondary education frameworks. During this time, he implemented key initiatives through CPD to promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and anti-bullying strategies. Reece is thrilled to join LCE, bringing his wealth of experience to establish strong, trusting relationships across our partner schools and local communities.
