LCE are proud to welcome Sam Kelly as one of our LCE athletes. As a proud local resident, having formerly attended Siddal Moor Sports College, Heywood (Newhouse Academy), Sam is enthused to represent LCE and demonstrate the hard work and discipline required to achieve success in professional MMA.
Having always loved sport and physical activity throughout his youth, excelling in PE at school, Sam entered MMA at 19 years of age, transitioning over from his childhood passion of football and having his first MMA fight at 21. Due to his focus and commitment to the sport, it was quickly apparent that Sam had great potential in the sport, leading him to his current status as a signed Cage Warriors professional MMA fighter; the most prestigious MMA competition across all of Europe.
Training relentlessly, in pursuit of continual growth, Sam aspires to continue his professional journey to be the very best he can be, whilst actively supporting LCE and the local community.
LCE are proud to support Sam and look forward to seeing his journey ahead. Sam will be available to visit our partnership schools, work with some of the pupils and provide insightful information to pupils about the commitment and dedication required to pursue their highest aspirations.
