A collaborative educational inclusion service.
Life Changing Education is an educational inclusion service, in which we provide schools direct access to our collaborative and inclusive aspirational provision. We work in partnership with mainstream educational settings, providing an extension to their inclusion offer, utilising short-term, part-time placements; enabling pupils to restore a positive relationship with education, we invest in the pupils attending LCE, to develop their ability to overcome barriers to education, whilst supporting our partnership schools and local authorities across the region, in view of successfully re-engaging disaffected young learners with education, whilst providing a range of educational services to support the performance and well-being of school staff.
Rationale:
Inclusive education is mentioned on a daily basis, yet the data makes it clear that our educational system requires intensive support to improve inclusivity! Mainstream schools work tirelessly to educate, support, protect and guide thousands of pupils without the support needed.
LCE believe that education should expose pupils to qualified teachers, complimented by life experienced aspirational role models, contextualised learning opportunities, and instil the resilience and respect they require to ensure they are able to behave with integrity because they understand the right thing to do, and are able to consciously make the right behavioural choices.

In a time in which vulnerable children are being sexually and criminally exploited, mental health difficulties are more prevalent than ever, deprivation and social deficiencies are creating barriers to education and permanent exclusions are higher than ever before, LCE are creating opportunities for pupils across Greater Manchester to thrive in an educational environment in which the physical and mental fitness of the pupils is developed and supported, in view of enhancing their social and communication skills and their ability to engage within mainstream educational settings and beyond that, successfully access further education or employment.
LCE incorporate a wealth of experience including educational headship, substantial senior and middle leadership within education, KS1-4 and Special Education Governance, qualified teachers, SEND leads, former professional athletes, psychologists, health and wellbeing leads, and pastoral leads to ensure we are able to best support the needs of the pupils and support mainstream settings in their approach to supporting dysregulated pupils.
